Oklahoma Dog Boarding

ACCOMMODATIONS

Patiently Pawlished is happy to provide two options for dog boarding in Oklahoma and surrounding states.

Indoor Boarding. Our kennel building is climate-controlled and cleaned daily. We have recently upgraded our kennel building with indoor/outdoor kennel runs. We are excited to offer this upgrade to our boarding guests.
Outdoor Boarding. Some dogs can be boarded in our outdoor kennels. This includes daily supervised turnouts in a large exercise pen with group play or individual leisure time per your request. If your dog is not house-trained, please opt for our outdoor boarding option.

Just a Note

We absolutely love caring for the dogs who are entrusted to us. We completely understand how nerve wracking it is to leave your family pets behind while you go on vaccation. We do our best to keep you updated and send pictures. However, please feel free to ask for an update as well. We are so honored that you choose our family to care for yours while you are away. It is always our priority to make sure our guests are safe, comfortable, and happy. We are proactive during group play time and we have a great track record for safety. Scratches and scuffs can happen while playing with others - just like kids on a playground. If you are concerned about this, please request single turnouts for your dog. We are happy to accommodate them.

Please try to be prompt for your scheduled pick-ups and drop-offs. I will be preparing your dog's kennel before your arrival and making sure there is space in the exercise pens for them to turn out. Most dogs want to play as soon as they get here and we love to accommodate that for them as well. For pickups, your dog will be turned out into the exercise pen prior to going home and I will gather their things in preparation for pickup. Dogs absolutely know when its their time to leave and they get so excited to see their owners again.

Drop Off & Pick Up

All boarding accommodations are charged by the day. This includes the day of drop off and pick up.

Pick-ups and drop-offs are by appointment only. Please do not arrive without an appointment as we may not be around the kennels. We appreciate your promptness as we strive to stay on schedule for the well-being of all dogs as well as our farm. If you are more than 20 minutes late, you will be charged a $30 late fee.

Appointments can be made outside of our current business hours if needed. We ask that you try to stay within our business hours if possible, however, our schedule is flexible. Please let us know if you need alternate accommodations.

WHAT TO BRING

Required Items

Dog Food. Switching foods can cause stomach upset and diarrhea, so please remember to pack your dog's preferred food. Of course, no dog will go hungry in the event that you forget. However, you will be charged for dog food. Depending on the size, the dog food will cost $1-$3 per day per dog.
Medication. If your dog takes medication, please remember to bring the medication and directions for administering.
Vaccination Records Policy - If your dog is under one year of age, they need to have at least two puppy vaccines with parvovirus. A picture of their shot records is sufficient. If your dog is over one year of age, we do not require vaccination records.

Optional Items

Bedding. We provide dog cots or foam mats for our guests if needed. We try to give all older dogs a cot. Please request a cot if you think your dog would appreciate one. Also, please let us know if you think your dog may chew them up. Feel free to bring your dog's favorite blanket or bed, but please be aware that change sometimes make dogs nervous and they might chew on items that they normally wouldn't at home. We will ensure that you get your blankets and beds back, but we will not replace beds that were chewed up by your dog.
Toys. You are welcome to bring your dog's favorite chew or comfort toy.
Treats. Is your dog accustomed to a daily treat? Let us know and we'll keep that routine going!

PRICING

Indoor/Outdoor- Single Boarding

$35/Dog

We offer indoor/outdoor runs for our boarding guests.
We do multiple group turnouts a day so your dog can run and play with other guests. These are always supervised and pack structure is implemented. No bullying allowed.
Single turnout is an option. Please let us know if your dog does not play well with others and they will have time in the exercise pen alone.

Outdoor Boarding

$20/Dog flat rate

We do not currently have outdoor kennels available. We will soon begin working to add 2 fully shaded outdoor kennels to our facility.
These kennels are only for dogs who are acclimated to living outside.
Limit of 3 dogs/kennel. Dogs must get along well and have no food aggression. If we see any issues, we will separate immediately and you will be charged for separate accommodations. The safety of our guests will always be our number one priority.

More than one dog? No problem! We offer group discounts.

Our indoor/outdoor runs are 4 ft by 5 ft inside and 4ft by 10ft outside. All dogs in a run must be able to comfortably lay down inside. Our runs are limited to 2XL dogs, 3 Large dogs, or up to 4 Small/medium sized dogs. If there is bullying within the family group, we will separate and you will be charged for an additional kennel run.

GROUP BOARDING RATES

$35 for the first dog and $20 for any additional dogs that shares the run. DOGS MUST BE ABLE TO EAT TOGETHER TO SHARE A KENNEL. We will separate immediately if we see any aggression and you will be charged for separate accommodations. We do provide each dog their own feeder and we space them out as much as possible.

Separate Accommodations

$35 for the first dog and $30 for any additional dog.
Dogs must be from the same household to receive this discount.
Family-only turnout is an option. Please let us know if your dogs do not play well with others.

Our Family Cares

We have amazing dogs that come to stay with us. We are truly blessed to be trusted with the care of your dogs while you are away from home. Our family loves dogs. My husband and I have been professionally training for 10 years and our kids have grown up around and with a wide variety of dogs. Health is very important to us and all dogs are monitored throughout the day. We watch to make sure all dogs are eating well and that they feel good. You will know if we have any concerns over your dog's well-being. We are very careful during group turnouts and step in quickly to prevent altercations between dogs. All group turn-outs are supervised and we do not allow any type of bullying or dominant behavior between dogs. It doesn't take our guests long to learn that aggression is not tolerated here. We strive to keep all our guests safe and provide a loving, comfortable environment where all guests can feel at home away from home. Thank you for your trust and consideration.
